Looking for a creepy, twisted and bloody disturbing trailer to watch before you head off into dreamland this evening? If so, we have just the trailer for you. Dead Space (which we consider to be an E3 standout) recently released and re-aired a new “Lullaby” trailer for almost mass consumption. Set to an eerie rendition of the children’s song “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”, this Dead Space trailer is violent and, for that, it is downright amazing. Too amazing for the folks over at the ESRB, because they actually refused to rate it for American audiences. But to heck with the ESRB. Watch the latest Dead Space trailer embedded above and give us your impressions. We’re a bit enthusiastic about its decapitated potential, what say you?

There is a ton of of Blu-ray releases this week. The good news is that there is something for everyone. The bad news is that we are all going to be feeling a little broke after.
For comedy, we have Harold & Kumar’s two hilarious adventures. We’ve got some Harrison Ford love here as well with Clear and Present Danger and Patriot Games. Indies and foreign flicks include The Band’s Visit, Perhaps Love and The Tiger Blade. Education movies include Bears, Wolves and Human Body: Pushing the Limits. Former HD-DVD exclusive, Beowulf, is finally migrating over to Blu-ray. Finally, note that you can buy the indie short horror flicks Salvage and Mortuary separately or together in one box. Check out the rest of the releases above.

The possibility was discussed months ago and now forceunleashed.org has learned that Lucas Arts’ own marketing manager Matt Shell has confirmed that a Star Wars: The Force Unleashed demo will be releasing to the Xbox Live Marketplace sometime next month. Interesting too is allude that the demo will feature a different experience than the game itself, with a remade Tie Fighter Construction Facility, extra force powers unlocked and a special conclusion to the level that isn’t seen in the retail version. Force Unleashed, good or bad? We’ll give you an answer next month.

It’s raining outside and the weather is making us feel sleepy. Just like this rainstorm brewing outside our window, this week’s PSP releases is giving us that lethargic vibe. We could use a little thunder.
NA Games:
EU Games:
Asian Games:
Phantasy Star Portable seems to be the only worthy title this week. With that said, we’ll slip into an early slumber this evening.

It seems as if it wasn’t that long ago when rumors of Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen coming stateside first appeared, querying our next command. But here we are, less than two months away from the 3D remake’s September 16 release, and Square Enix already has its marketing engine for the game running. The publisher has certainly done its part to push summer along by keeping the past couple of months busy with quality releases.
This week’s edition of Promotional Consideration pulls out a page from the latest issue of Nintendo Power to bring you Square Enix’s new DQIV ad. Join us past the post break!

Send the kids to bed, dear readers. It’s grown folks time. The Dead Space “Lullaby” trailer we’ve placed cautiously after the jump is full of ominous environments, severed limbs, and creepy children’s songs — the horror game trailer trifecta. In fact, Ars Technica reports that shortly after viewing the trailer at E3, they received an email from Electronic Arts telling them that the ESRB refused to approve the trailer for American audiences. We’re not experts on the subject, but it might have something to do with all the disappendaged torsos. It was cleared for European regions, however, and of course, for the great nation of Internetania. Check it after the break, if you think you can handle it (you probably can).

The last Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia trailer certainly made the game look good — but, in the form we saw (taken by pointing a camera at a screen at Konami’s E3 booth), the trailer itself could have looked better. This direct-feed version of the OoE trailer corrects that single issue, leaving nothing between you and awesome monster fighting.
The trailer features a bunch of new monsters, and a bunch of monsters reused from previous Castlevanias. But that’s okay, because not only do we expect it, Konami got those sprites right the first time! You can also see Shanoa doing wacky glyph-based attacks like turning into a were-panther. But enough talk — have at you!

Looks like the Rock Band DLC this week has no track pack, but rather four individual songs. They are by four different bands, but one of them only costs $1. Care to guess which one?
Fans of System of a Down should be pleased, since we are getting a Scars of Broadway track. As usual, each song will be ready for download on Thursday via the PlayStation Store.
