The United States has Black Friday, Canada has Boxing Day. The biggest shopping day across Canada happens on December 26, retailers mark down their wares in hopes to reduce inventory on items that have flooded stockrooms throughout the year. Doesn't sound so glamorous but retailers often reduce big ticket items in hopes to lure in customers -- items like televisions and video game consoles.
Best Buy Canada is offering the 60GB Xbox 360 package (complete with games) for $239.99, $60 off the regular price. Future Shop is offering the same bundle along with Halo 3 and Stranglehold for $259.99, a savings of $127. Walmart has the Xbox 360 Pro priced at $237.63 and the Xbox 360 Elite for $337.63 both a savings of just over $60. Toys R Us has reduced the Pro model bundle to $249.99 and the Elite model bundle to $349.99 both a savings of $50.
