Euro 360 sales at 8 million thanks to record holiday

Puffing out their chest with pride, today Microsoft revealed that - to date - they've sold 8 million Xbox 360 consoles in the European market thanks to record setting holiday sales. Sales that were nearly double that of the same holiday period last year.

"2008 saw us grow faster than any of our competitors and we over-achieved in sales during the crucial Christmas selling period," explained European Xbox VP Chris Lewis.
