The next entry into the hugely popular and successful LEGO series of games, LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues, revolves around the adventures of the titular hero (which includes Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull this time), and follows his “escapades from the jungles of South America to the Peruvian Ruins and beyond.”

Not only that, but this time you’ll be able to create your own levels, LEGO-brick by LEGO-brick, and merge your own created levels with those in the game to create “a custom experience,” or share your levels with your friends.
The main adventure features a two-player drop-in/drop-out cooperative mode, as you use objects in the environment (such as chairs, bottles and swords) to fight off the bad guys, while using planes, boats and mine carts to traverse the world, and Indy’s iconic whip (newly enhanced!) to solve puzzles and battle enemies.

The story mode allows players to play through “innovative re-tellings” of the classic Indiana Jones movies, not limited to Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but also including Raiders of the Lost Ark, Temple of Doom, and The Last Crusade, using over 60 playable characters from the movies, which includes both villains and supporting characters, to complete the adventures.
LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues releases on PC, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PSP and PS3 at the end of the year. Flick through the newly released screenshots from the game below:
