Warner Bros and MTV Games have announced that popular UK Band Blur will be featured in their upcoming rhythm game LEGO Rock Band.
The game will feature the likeness of singer Damon Albarn, guitarist Graham Coxon, bassist Alex James and drummer Dave Rowntree as LEGO mini figures, performing the group’s hit track ‘Song 2.’
LEGO Rock Band for the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii is currently in development by TT Games in partnership with Harmonix, while Backbone Entertainment is lending a hand for the DS version of the game. LEGO Rock Band is scheduled to be available this November. Don’t miss our previous coverage for more information about the game or cast your eyes below to see the LEGO Blur men in action.

Harmonix has released the complete list of tracks that will ship with their Lego-themed version of Rock Band… Lego Rock Band.
Tracks include songs from Blink-182, Blur, David Bowie, Spinal Tap, KT Tunstall and Jimi Hendrix.
Additionally, Harmonix has confirmed that the already enormous amount of downloadable songs available for other versions of Rock Band will be available to buy and download for owners of Lego Rock Band, but the specific online store will be a bit more restricted:
“Players will have access to all of the songs in the Rock Band Music Store that have been identified to be suitable for all ages,” Harmonix explained in a press release.
“Those cleared songs are the only tracks that will appear within the Lego Rock Band store for purchase. The Lego Rock Band store will continually highlight any new family-friendly tunes that can be played across the Rock Band platform as they are released for Rock Band.”
A little more family oriented, then, which is nice.
