Though scans of the actual article have yet to appear, the table of contents for the latest issue of Famitsu reveals a new No More Heroes game for Xbox 360 and PS3, called No More Heroes: Eiyuutachi no Rakuen (Heroes’ Paradise).
With recent statements from series creator Suda 51 that the next No More Heroes game would be made for the Wii’s successor, and that he sees the current controls scheme as the ideal, we’re inclined to believe that this is a port of the original game, undertaken by publisher Marvelous — much as it has expressed its interest in doing. We’ll find out more when we can see the scan!
Update: The scans are up, showing a ported version of the original game with updated graphics and a new “Very Sweet” mode in which all the female characters are wearing less. According to the scan, it’ll be out in Japan on February 25.

The latest issue of Famitsu confirms what a USK rating hinted: Phoenix Wright is coming to WiiWare. Capcom is porting the DS games (or, if you’d rather, the Game Boy Advance games) to Wii one at a time, to be released in Japan starting December 15. Judging from what we can see (which isn’t much — portions of cell phone images of screenshots), the graphics aren’t enhanced for Wii at all.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney will be available in Japan on December 15 for 900 Wii Points, with the two Phoenix Wright sequels following on January 26 and February 23 for 1200 Wii Points each. The original case added to the DS version of the first Ace Attorney will be out on March 16 for 300 Points.
And now begin the process of reminding ourselves that we’ve already played all of this content, and just because it’s being released again in a different format doesn’t mean we have to buy it again. The fact that no announcements have been made about a North American release should help.

Eager to play Resident Evil Zero on the Wii, but not so eager that you’ve already purchased the GameCube disc? Or the Japanese Wii version that came out in July 2008? Capcom has announced that Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero will be released in North America on December 1, 2009, at a $29.99 price point. Despite Capcom USA’s initial protests, American plans for this re-release were finally revealed in March of this year.
We assume the December release is entirely a marketing decision, as there is already a localization of Resident Evil Zero, made for the identical GameCube game, which means it probably didn’t take too long to prepare this, which adds controller support for the Wiimote/Nunchuk and Classic Controller, for North America.

It’s a big week for Grand Theft Auto trailers! First we got a new Episodes from Liberty City clip, and today, Rockstar sent out a trailer for the PSP version of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, which comes out on October 20. We didn’t realize it was so soon!
Of course, if you have a DS, it comes out a lot sooner — seven months ago, in fact — but no matter how many times this wonderful game is released, it’ll be exciting every time. The graphical update on the PSP version looks nice, even if the trailer makes it hard to actually see the game.
If these moving images aren’t enough, check Kotaku for some new screens. And yes, two trailers counts as a big week.

PSP owners expecting a Liberty City Stories-styled facelift for the upcoming port of Chinatown Wars may be a little disappointed. One glance at the first batch of PSP screenshots shows that the game hasn’t strayed far from its DS origins. Sure, the enhanced lighting effects and widescreen presentation are noticeable improvements, but it’s clear that this GTA isn’t pushing the hardware in any significant way.
Hopefully, the visuals won’t stop PSP owners from checking out the game. It may be a port of a DS game, but it’s a port of one of the best DS games ever. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be available on UMD and PSN on October 20.

Remember Enclave? It’s back … in Wii form! Oh, you don’t remember Enclave? It was a 3D fantasy action game for the Xbox and PC, developed by Starbreeze Studios immediately prior to its breakout hit The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay.
According to Eurogamer, some progress was made years ago on a GameCube port of the game, which the site speculates is the basis for this Wii version. However, Starbreeze isn’t working on the Wii game — instead, a German developer called Village1 Entertainment is handling the port. Village1 expects to release the game in “early 2010,” though without a publisher, it has basically no way of knowing when the release date will be.
