In Splinter Cell: Conviction, superspy Sam Fisher is seeking revenge for his daughter’s murder. In the Splinter Cell: Conviction collector’s edition, you’ll find a varying degree of bonus items — some cool, some silly — that Ubisoft is seeking $79.99 for.
Due to arrive on the same day as the standard edition (February 23, 2010) the set will include a comic book prequel to the events in the game; an art book with illustrations from all the previous Splinter Cell titles; a DLC weapon and player skin; a credit-card-sized USB drive filled with art and a making-of featurette; and two stickers: one of the Third Echelon logo and another that looks like those fake bullet holes people slap on their cars to make it appear that they live in a warzone.
Ubisoft’s sell-sheet for the CE thankfully displays the game disc and manual, lest you worry they’re not included. They go inside the DVD steelcase, which we’d say might be good for deflecting bullets, but appears to already have been used for just that purpose.

If you’re looking to drop a few extra presidential flash cards in order to ensure that your DJ Hero experience is as fulfilling as possible, GameStop’s got you covered — the retailer recently priced the rhythm title’s limited “Renegade Edition” at $199.99. That’s a bit of a markup from the standard version’s $119.99 price tag, but big enough fans of Jay-Z, Eminem, high quality turntable peripherals and collapsible stands for said controllers may be willing to part with the extra bones.

The Dragon Age: Origins special edition, newly revealed on GameStop.com, includes a pile of stuff, both real and virtual. For your $74.99 (or $64.99, if you’re PC-style), you’ll receive a tin case (of course); a bonus DVD with a documentary, music, video, and wallpapers; a cloth map (which is a totally old-school bonus), in-game quests and characters, and even an exclusive in-game item in Mass Effect 2.
If you buy the thing from GameStop, you get even more in-game junk: a Feral Wolf Charm, that increases health regeneration, and a Memory Ring, which boosts experience accumulation. The best part of all these virtual goodies? They don’t require head-shaped stands.
